The PPS Advocacy Standards are the standards expected of everyone who prosecutes on behalf of the PPS. That is, public prosecutors who are Barristers or Solicitors employed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) and Barristers who are members of the Bar of Northern Ireland who have been instructed by the PPS to act as prosecuting counsel in any individual case.
