PPS is pleased for Kate Carroll and her family that the convictions in this case have been upheld and, we commend her for her courage and dignity in the aftermath of her husband’s cowardly murder and throughout this difficult process.
PPS has worked closely with police to achieve this outcome and it is important that the people of Northern Ireland be reassured that where the test for prosecution is met PPS will prosecute robustly and fairly.
