The PPS produces statistics on the activity of the Service, including caseloads and prosecutorial decisions. Where appropriate, these statistics are accompanied with detailed notes which provide an explanation of the relevant PPS processes and procedures.
The latest statistics for the 2022/23 financial year (i.e. 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023) were published on 29 June 2023. Statistics for the 2023/24 financial year (i.e. 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024) will be published in the summer of 2024. Following review and user feedback these statistics have been moved from quarterly to annual production.
