The PPS's consultation on the Policy for Prosecuting Cases of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking was issued on 28 January 2021 for an initial period of 12 weeks. This was then extended, closing on 13 May 2021. The aim of the consultation was to seek a wide range of views to inform the development of the Policy. All comments were taken fully into consideration, and a summary of the points raised is set out in the document below.
