Policy on managing unacceptable behaviour

The PPS is committed to providing a fair, consistent and accessible service for all people coming into contact with the organisation.

However, this commitment must be balanced against the need to provide a safe working environment for staff and to ensure that the work of the Service is undertaken in an efficient and effective manner.

This policy sets out our approach to managing those individuals whose actions or behaviour are considered to be unacceptable and are either having a harmful impact on our staff or their ability to provide a consistent level of service to other service users.
